SUMMARY: To effectively manage allocation of buses promptly by ensuring the Company delivers a safe, punctual and reliable service. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES: - Ensure the yard is a safe environment at all times and that vehicles maintain the standards expected. - Manage the allocations of buses (with particular attention to the bus types) to BCs to ensure they leave the depot on time to commence in service. - Ensure that the depot parking plan is adhered to in liaison with Engineering. - Communicate and work with Depot supervisor and SCs. - Accurate recording of vehicle allocation based on duties. - Undertake any additional reasonable duties at the request of your DOM. - Undertake any training and development activities at the request of your DOM. - Build strong working relationships with the Engineering Team and the SCs to ensure that resources across the business are maximised. - If necessary, take control of any emergency situations that may arise within the Yard. - Support the communication with employees as you are their primary garage contact.
