Lead Process Engineer

Job Detail

-Develops process simulation heat and mass balances (H&M Sheets). -Prepares process flow diagrams (PFD), utility flow diagrams (UFD), piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), cause and effect diagrams, and safe charts. -Performs equipment sizing calculations (separators, vessels, storage tanks, etc.), line sizing calculations, hydraulic analysis, and flare network design. -Prepares and reviews technical queries and assists the lead engineer in concluding TQs with the Client. -Prepares reports, including process system design reports, vent and drain reports, and utility summaries. -Attends project meetings as required (intra-discipline, Client, inter-discipline, SCM, and subcontractor/vendor/third party) to assist the lead engineer in addressing/clarifying engineering issues and progress, and follows through with meeting actions. -Supports project process engineering from engineering kick-off through detail engineering, as-built engineering, pre-commissioning and commissioning, and warranty test runs, as required and per project requirements. -Liaises with the package engineer to obtain updated information when required and maintains the process design submittal filing system in the engineering reference library.
