-Analyses and evaluates marine and topside equipment for purchase. -Liaises with project team and external vendors to ensure that the equipment/parts and materials are met within project’s specification and budget. -Manages full spectrum of purchasing process (sourcing, quotation, negotiation, shipping and delivery, etc). -Proposes recommendation for vendors and evaluates vendor’s performances. -Ensures proper gathering and distribution of all records, forms and reports pertaining to the receiving, storage, movement and control of equipment/ materials. -Supervises and manages warehouse personnel to ensure that the completions of tasks are in accordance to plans and schedules.
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Management or related disciplines -Minimum 5 years of relevant procurement experience preferably in the marine, offshore or renewable energy sectors -Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment -Prior experience in managing contracts for equipment, especially topside, will be an added advantage
