As an Engineer, R&D (Electronics), you will: Responsible for developing and designing the electronics architecture, circuits and systems for meeting future products specifications. The key responsibilities are as below: - Develop innovative, out-of-the-box solutions to enhance value for the business and customers. - Perform system analysis to create optimized design solutions that meet specifications & all regulatory requirements, project timelines, and cost targets. - Participate in technical discussions and presentation of design solutions to customer. - Coordinate the fabrication, assembly and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance to specifications. - Author of specifications, requirements and validation plans for design module assigned. - Work with the Manufacturing team and suppliers throughout the product cycle in a fast-paced environment. - Contribute to development and design in areas such as: Embedded Microprocessor Systems, Medical Product Design, IO Standards and - Protocols (e.g., USB, IR, LAN, Bluetooth), Power Electronics (e.g., DC-DC, AC-DC converters), and Analog Technologies (e.g., sensing, signal conditioning). - Any ad-hoc tasks as requested by the manager.
