Primary Responsibilities: • Deployment of the Collins and Avionics Global Trade policies and procedures in the APAC region • Development of the Global Trade focal network within the region • Working under/within the various regional regulations that may apply to our locations in APAC • Working under/within the following U.S. Regulations; Export Administration Regulation (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR) and HTS • Perform most sophisticated JC analysis and validation (resolution of JC escalation, supplier issues, etc.) • Perform HTS classifications • Verification of Jurisdictional and HTS classifications • Support Regulatory Compliance investigations • Analyze business needs with respect to Global Trade requirements and develop compliant solutions • Support development and delivery of formal and informal Global Trade training • Review of transactions under Collins Sanctions policy
Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience OR • In absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required • Experience with APAC regional regulations on Global Trade • Experience with US Export Control regulations Preferred Qualifications: • BS/MS International Trade, Engineering or Business Administration • Experience with both Import and Export Regulations • Development and implementing standard work • Program or Project management experience • Aerospace (program/technical) experience • Experience with US Export (classification) Regulations; specifically the EAR and the Commerce Control List (CCL), • Experience with Sanctions and Screening
