We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Executive to join our Volunteer Management team. Reporting directly to the Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating volunteers and events assigned to you. You will ensure the smooth execution of volunteer programs and events, maintaining high service standards to support NKF patients. Additionally, you will provide guidance and leadership to a team of Senior Officers/Officers (Deputy Executives), overseeing their performance and assisting them in carrying out their responsibilities. Your key responsibilities will include: Main Responsibilities: Recruitment & Deployment: o Recruit, orient, match, and deploy volunteers for various NKF programs and initiatives. o Expand the volunteer pool, especially through individual and school engagements, to support NKF’s mission. Program Management: o Plan and execute volunteer programs to assist NKF patients in their rehabilitation journeys. o Ensure smooth execution of volunteer programs, focusing on quality and efficiency. Training & Development: o Train and equip volunteers with necessary skill sets to execute volunteering services effectively. Volunteer Engagement & Recognition: o Nurture and recognize volunteers for their valuable contributions to NKF. Event Management: o Plan and execute events as part of volunteer engagement and outreach efforts. o Assist with organizing and supporting NKF events and programs. Cross-departmental Collaboration: o Collaborate with other NKF departments to deploy volunteers for events, activities, and programs.
Qualifications: • A degree in any discipline. • Minimum of 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in volunteer and event management. • Experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage. Competencies: Volunteer & Event Management: o Strong experience in recruiting, managing, and coordinating volunteers. o Expertise in planning and executing events to support organizational goals. Training & Development: o Proficient in designing and delivering volunteer training programs. o Ability to equip volunteers with the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively. Communication & Coordination: o Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with diverse groups of people. o Excellent coordination skills and attention to detail to ensure the smooth execution of programs. Problem-Solving & Adaptability: o Ability to troubleshoot challenges and adapt to evolving situations in a fast-paced environment.
