Integrated Event Management: Your principal responsibility will be to coordinate exciting STEM events and outreach projects aimed at fostering a passion for scientific curiosity among Singaporean youth. You will meticulously plan, and coordinate a varied range of events, including competitions, seminars, and workshops. Your aim will be to ensure a seamless and outstanding experience for all attendees. In addition to overseeing logistics, venue sourcing, vendor coordination, and marketing efforts, you will also play a crucial role in on-site event coordination to guarantee smooth execution. Novel STEM Content Development: You will be integral in generating and contributing ideas for bespoke STEM concepts tailored to diverse events and engagements. Your creative input and innovative ideas will be instrumental in crafting content and challenges that captivate and inspire participants, thereby enhancing the overall impact of our events and engagements. These experiences will not only drive visitor engagement but also serve as revenue-generating activities for Science Centre Singapore.
We're seeking an ideal candidate with a tertiary qualification in STEM and a strong grasp of modern concepts in Science and Technology, who can contribute creatively by generating ideas for STEM content and challenges for various events and engagements. If you have qualifications or experience in event and project management, that's a definite plus! Strong coordination and forward planning skills Experience in large-scale event management, budgeting, and project planning would give you an edge. But above all, effective communication skills are essential – you'll be collaborating with clients, vendors, and team members, so clear and timely information sharing is key. Creative thinking and STEM content conceptualisation We're looking for someone who's not just passionate and innovative, but also highly resourceful with a commitment to delivering quality, creative STEM experiences.
