Airfreight Operations Officer/Agent

• To perform the full scope of operations roles for Multimodal Freight services, not restricted to quotes, rates negotiation with carriers/liners/agents, cargo reservation, shipment confirmation, collection/delivery, shipment execution, permit declarations, cargo transfers, pre-alerts, and billings. • To coordinate with co-loaders, support export/import/cross trade shipments and updating of shipping status. • To ensure all dangerous goods handling and live animals handling are according to SOP and IATA regulations. • To ensure all air/sea freight shipment (pick up & deliveries) are performed according to SOP and provide timely updates and constant support to customers. • To ensure the office and warehouse premises are secured at all times. • To attend to all phone calls and emails promptly. • To deliver proactive and efficient service level for all shipments. • To secure all company's property, information, safeguard goods and customers' data at all times. • To work closely with Sales team to identify potential business opportunities for new businesses. • To rotate standby duties for after office hours emergency calls. • To carry out any other duties as may be expected in a post of this level.
