Trainee Licensed Aircraft Engineer

Trainee will join us on the Programme to be nurtured and developed into a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE) in either CAT B1.1 or B2. The role and responsibilities of a LAE include: 1. Perform inspection using visual aids or specialized equipment, e.g. borescope, to detect defects, and to rectify defects by repair or replacement in accordance to approved manuals, if required. 2. Lead a team of aircraft maintenance crew to carry out aircraft operational tests such as flight control operations check, cabin pressurization checks, engine ground run, landing gear retraction etc, to ensure the aircraft systems are fit for flight. 3. Issue certificate of release to service (CRS) for maintenance and repair of aircraft in accordance with Company authorization. 4. Assist in investigate of incident report(s) and ensure corrective action(s) taken. 5. Other duties may include assigning jobs to Technicians and ensuring staff under his/ her charge observe and practice safety precautions at work.
