This role supports teachers in providing high-quality care and learning experiences for infants by assisting with personalized daily routines, preparing resources, and documenting progress. You will actively engage infants in developmental activities while building positive relationships with families and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the learning environment and overall centre operations. Professional development is key, requiring continuous training and application of best practices.
Candidate requires a minimum of Secondary 4 education or equivalent, with candidates holding a Fundamentals Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (FECCE) preferred. We also welcome applicants currently undergoing HCIC or ACEY training, who will be upgraded upon course completion. Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience in a preschool or infant care setting, possess good communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a patient, adaptable, and positive attitude. The ability to work collaboratively, take direction, and be proficient in using basic technology for data security and internal systems is also essential.
