Set up cloud infrastructure for AWS or Azure. Install and configure software and hardware for project testing. Liaise with customers to gather requirements. Produce design / test document in a project. Hardening windows and Linux system. Manage network servers and technology tools. Set up cluster server, VMware, and workstations. Create and verify backups of data. Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements. Respond to security or usability concerns immediately. Troubleshoot issues and outages. Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls. Upgrade systems with new releases and models. Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies. Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution. Act as L2/L3 Support. Able to perform System recovery.
Experience as a IT Engineer, System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role. Experience with Windows Server, Group Policy, Virtualization, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management. Familiar with Terraform is a plus. Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery. Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude. Excellent communication skills. Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is a plus. Singaporean preferred.
