Perform perioperative assessment of patient for surgery. Competent in performing surgical scrub or circulating for surgeries. (General surgery, Orthopaedic, ENT, Urology) Execute proper use, care, and handling of surgical equipment to ensure safety of operating staff and patient. Knowledge in Infection control, aseptic and sterile technique assisting in surgery. Ensured operating rooms are adequately prepared prior to the commencement of scheduled cases.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Nursing and registered with the Singapore Nursing Board, with at least 3-4 years of relevant experience preferably in multi discipline set up. Candidate with Operating Theatre and Scrub Trained experience will be an advantage. Previous experience in multi discipline Day surgery setting is an advantage. Nurse with valid SNB. Eye scrub experience preferred. High motivation, ability to work in team and fast paced environment. Good communication skills. Adaptable and willing to learn new skills. Problem solving and critical thinking.
