Establish that the technical data requirements are compliant to airworthiness standards and ensure repairs and limits are safe, durable, properly substantiated meeting the quality requirements of the component; perform or oversee analysis, as required. Carry out repair design and structural analysis as needed for our technical data needs. Support the customers in the resolution of field supportability issue with timely hardware disposition in support of shop turnaround time, cost and minimize work scope. Trend hardware distress locally to identify needed limits / repairs and input to spare provisioning based on observed distress trending and metrology work as required. Research operating environments and functionality of components, their interactions with mating parts, and develop strategies which will return damaged parts back to service. Interface with OEM design teams to secure priorities and understand programmatic issues and conduct engine investigations. Conduct repair process standard work reviews and undertake project work as required. Lead and conduct technology work, research and projects in support of shops as required. Continue to develop an improved personal understanding of the technologies, engine systems, business systems, regulations and business needs of the company and customers. Foster an environment of creative technical ownership and rotation of responsibilities within the collaborative community of the regional ELMT Team. Carry out continuous improvement initiatives (CORE) for cost-efficient development and execution of programs. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned. Occasional Global Travel may be required.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Aerospace, Mechanical & Production, Materials or equivalent. Minimum 6 years’ working experience in aerospace aftermarket and/or similar MRO businesses Strong technical knowledge of commercial gas turbine engines. Good engineering aptitude and ability to pick and learn independently. Demonstrate communication skills including written and oral presentation proficiency. Demonstrate business judgment, results driven, adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s Degree with 2nd upper qualification and above is preferred. Experience with Project Management processes, tools, and techniques, including knowledge and application of continuous improvement operating systems.
