Patient Care Assistant, Radiology

Job Detail

You will provide basic nursing and patient care, which includes preparing patients for imaging procedures, setting up the imaging room and equipment, and supporting radiographers and radiologists during procedures. You will need to communicate effectively with patients and their relatives. You will be expected to follow infection control measures and maintain good hand hygiene at all times. Working alongside our Patient Service Associates, you will help schedule imaging procedures and advise patients and the public on how to prepare for their appointments. You will also play a part in keeping the work area clean and tidy, and assist in transferring patients safely to and from the imaging facility.
