The Care Associate (CA) will provide home-based personal care services which aims to assist clients with their daily activities of living, to enable them to be taken care of and live in the comfort and security of their own home. Duties include but not limited to companionship, personal hygiene, medical escort, grocery shopping, meal preparation, feeding and light housekeeping. Assist with instrumental activities of daily living (“IADLs”), including light housekeeping and laundry, assistance with medication and simple errands such as grocery shopping. Provide companionship and engage in mind-stimulating, recreational and leisure activities with client Performing simple maintenance exercises as prescribed by a registered therapist. Provide medical escort services for clients who need to attend medical appointments. Complete comprehensive and concise visit reports to ensure proper documentation. Any other duties (including administrative duties) as assigned by reporting officer.
