• Recycles where-ever possible and enforces cost saving measures to staff • Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures • Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly • Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers • Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements • Communicates to his/her superior any difficulties, guest or internal customer comment and other relevant information • Establishes and maintains effective employee working relationships • Attends and participates in daily briefings, other meetings and training sessions as scheduled • Provide input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions in line with company guidelines • Prepare, cook, serve and store a variety of dishes • Communicates politely and display courtesy to guests and internal customers • Prepares in advance food, beverage, material and equipment needed for the service

Job Requirements

Able to work 3 rotating shifts including night shift and weekends. Need to stand and be physically fit. Have knowledge of food safety and food hygiene. Able to identify risks in the kitchen and how to prevent accidents from happening. Able to prepare misc en place. Organized and responsible personality.
