1. Customer Service Specialist

Job Description 

  • Support the pre and post shipment requirements of the sales branches for effective day-to-day customer service operation
  • Manage customer backlog to maintain backlog integrity; systematically reviewing and addressing all backlog issues to ensure customer orders are delivered on time 
  • Assist the customer service management to provide daily customer service operational guidance to team members. 
  • Weekly management of the Customer backorder report with a turnaround time of 48 – 72 hours for a complete review. 
  • Work and assist the Sales team in managing their customer pre & post shipment. 
  • Support and drive the requirements generate by Customer account report related to fulfilment of bonded parts in their BIM program. 
  • Escalate all their issues or challenges in fulfilling their assigned task to their CSS management in the most appropriate timeline to seek guidance on resolution. 
  • Manage customer’s portal update and customized report if required. 
  • Responsible for analysing weekly customer production requirement. 
  • Responsible for updating customer production change requirement within Future System to optimize inventory planning as well as advising customer on any potential supply changes that may affect their production schedule. 
  • Elevate any potential delivery shortfall to respective sales personnel for awareness and communication. 

Job Requirements

  • At least a Diploma qualification or equivalent is required for this position. 
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience in a relevant field or equivalent. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications – (Excel) 
  • Prior knowledge and understanding of transportation modes (air and ocean) is highly advantageous. 

2. Product Manager-Asset

Job Description

  • Ensure the optimum management of regional inventory levels for a given product portfolio to meet the requirements of sales for a given business unit, while managing business risk and reducing any excess/bad inventory
  • Interface extensively with suppliers to validate lead times and /or specific stock. Building and maintaining supplier relationships will also be an integral part of this role. 
  • Maintain / increase good inventory turns and reduce XB inventory. Prompt buy placement and consistence PBO review. 
  • Conduct Daily purchases through IMS- Inventory Management System, either local suppliers purchases or global transfers from Memphis or UK 
  • Purchase backorder review – to monitor the inflow of product PBO, to maximize assets via Inventory Management System. 
  • Coordinate stocking packages with Product Marketing. 
  • Profile inventory (common bond, customer specific, NCNR) 
  • Coordinate programs to decrease bad and excess inventory. 
  • Resolve pricing discrepancies with marketing / suppliers. 
  • Resolve receiving discrepancies with APDC / marketing. 
  • Resolve rejected transfers with Corporate or UK.
  • Ensure proper management of RTV quality issues with suppliers. 
  • Coordinate with Marketer and Senior Product Manager- Asset on stock rotation quantity and amount and arrange returns with APDC and RMA department. 
  • Ensure prompt release of purchase order to supplier. 
  • Ensure relevant documents are in place prior to buy related to CUSPEC / NCNR parts. 
  • Ensure all requirements are meet / fulfilled according to Asset Buy Process SOP 
  • Ensure PBO fulfillment is met – e.g. POP budget 
  • Meet management set quarterly inventory / PBO target. 
  • Provide guidance to MSR- Marketing Support Representative. 
  • Weekly review with Senior Product Manager- Asset on Inventory / PBO and all Asset related issue. 

3. Manager – Supply Chain Solutions

 Job Description

  • Promote and implement Supply Chain Solutions within Future’s key customer base, in order to further penetrate the customer by increasing # of lines sold to the customer in the program. Increase in sales value will increase as a natural result. 
  • To increase the percentage of billings done through e-Commerce (as measured by the FIRST Scorecard report) 
  • Provide training to branch and sales personnel on how to position and sell Supply Chain Solutions’ benefits 
  • Provide training to sales and branch personnel on Supply Chain Solutions’ processes. 
  • Conduct presentations to potential Supply Chain Solutions customers
  • Implement Supply Chain Solutions. 
  • Provide expertise, implementation and project management services to other departments in the organization 
  • Implement Supply Chain Solutions 
  • Conduct regular monthly meetings with Sales VP/Director/Manager to strategise and discuss on issues, focus customers, visit and training plans. 

Job Requirements

  • A Degree or Diploma qualification or equivalent in a relevant field of study. 
  • An MBA will be of significant advantage. 
  • Must have at least 5 years’ experience either as a Materials Manager in an electronics manufacturing organization, or have 7 years’ hands-on materials management systems implementation experience. 
  • Have excellent working knowledge of Materials Management & Supply Chain Management. 
  • Exposure to a “consultative selling” environment (e.g. having advocated and implemented a vendor reduction and vendor managed inventory program). 
  • Presentation and persuasion skills should be highly developed. 
  • Must exude a confidence to be able to communicate comfortably with all levels of internal and customer management levels. 
  • Must be willing to travel more than 50% of the time. 

4. Senior Technical Support Analyst

Job Description

  • Serve as first-line support for core IT infrastructure and network systems within the Asia Pacific region. 
  • Maintain and support systems at the Asia Pacific Distribution Centre, including (but not limited to) WMS, ensuring consistent uptime and performance. 
  • Administer and monitor network security solutions, including anti-virus, firewall, VPN, and internet usage policies. 
  • Define, maintain, and test Disaster Recovery and Backup strategies in line with business continuity requirements. 
  • Provide technical support to clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, including escalated tickets from support staff. 
  • Mentor Support analysts, providing guidance on best practices, training, and support to help them develop their technical skills and improve service delivery. 
  • Diagnose and resolve IT-related problems, involving networks, servers, operating systems, applications, and other IT infrastructure components. 
  • Monitor IT equipment (including but not limited to network, servers, UPS, storage, temperature monitoring device) connectivity and status through the monitoring tools, notifications, and alerts, proactively ensuring that the connectivity is always up. 
  • Perform a variety of network problem analysis and monitoring tasks, monitor network management systems, and respond appropriately to requests and problems. 
  • Produce and maintain systems documentation for the Support teams and provide training as necessary. 
  • Ensure system, processes, and methodologies are followed to enable effective monitoring control and support of service delivery. This will ensure that the SLA are met or exceeded.

  • Record, track and document the service desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken through to final resolution; make recommendations for improvements. 
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and a positive client experience.

Job Requirements

  • A Diploma or Degree qualification in Information Technology or relevant field of study is required for this position. 
  • Professional certifications like: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) will be an added advantage. 
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in supporting server environment and LAN & WAN infrastructure. 
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues including but not limited to: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office suite. Experience with IT support tools and ticketing systems. 
  • Strong knowledge of the following software and systems:

5. Asset Risk Manager

Job Description

  • Assess risk for all opportunities where Future Electronics Asia is required to Bond inventory for a customer more than $5,000 at the line-item level. 
  • Validate customer information that justifies the Bond quantity (i.e. MRP or Sales History). 
  • Perform a detailed monthly review of Bond lines more than $5,000 where Salespeople request an increase in Bond Quantity (1999A process). 
  • Review, Approve/Disapprove and adjust Bonds and supplier Purchase Orders as per the specified thresholds. 
  • Promptly Alert all relevant departments (Sales, Asset, Marketing, Credit) when major customer problems are identified. Assist in the resolution of related credit issues and inventory/backlog management issues. 
  • Monitor Bond performance and BIM hold issue resolutions. 
  • Enforce customer commitments on signed paperwork (largest $ value lines). 

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of a Diploma / Degree in Business Administration / Business Management / Electrical & Electronics 
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in either Purchasing, Asset Management or Marketing. 
  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience at Future Electronics. 
  • Strong business acumen with a flair for figures.

6. Technician

Job Description

  • Maintain and repair equipment such as conveyor, control systems and power equipment. 
  • Provide daily operational support of conveyor system. 
  • Carry out trouble shooting, corrective and preventative maintenance programs for all machines and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation. 
  • Comply with all relevant local legislation and standards, to include but not limited to OSHA, MSDS Standards and ISO Procedures. 
  • Trouble shoot equipment in the field and the workshop. 
  • Assess scope of work, revise priorities and communicate to Operations Management and Supplier when fault-finding during equipment breakdown,
  • Perform preventative maintenance programs. 
  • Maintain preventative maintenance logs on all equipment and systems, and ensure written procedures and protocols are followed correctly. 
  • Maintain logs and records of work performed and materials and equipment used.
  • Complete allocated work by the scheduled date. 
  • Replace worn components before mechanical or electrical breakdown occurs. 
  • Ensure that repairs and installations carried out meet Safety Standards. 
  • Monitor and control equipment using remote digital controls. 
  • Train other technicians, share knowledge and advise on improvements. 
  • Provide feedback to technical staff on the effectiveness of the preventative maintenance tasks, inaccuracies in documentation and plant performance deficiencies. 
  • Work in a team to keep other Maintenance Staff on track to work plan, including temporary repairs to equipment and availability of supplies. 
  • Maintain and take periodic inventory of parts, materials, and components as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor. 
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area including clear access ways and safety signs. 
  • Conduct safety audit of equipment to identify faulty equipment and repair or replace as required. 
  • Ensure faults identified in safety audits are rectified promptly. 
  • Contribute to the online Knowledge database. 
  • Work rostered hours as required, including shifts. 
  • Perform other duties of a similar level or nature required by the Maintenance Supervisor. 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum a Higher Nitec 
  • 5 years of experience in maintenance operations, preferably in distribution environment. 
  • Electrical / Mechanical knowledge of powered and hydraulic / pneumatic drive systems including pumps, motors, etc. 
  • Troubleshooting and repair of DC drives and controls. 
  • Job task will include PLC fault finding. 
  • Electrical measurement testing / inspection. 
  • Electrical and mechanical repair. 
  • Service management and documentation. 
  • PC literate. 
  • Strong sense of urgency and troubleshooting ability. 
  • HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical experience.

7. Export Administrator

Job Description

  • Daily Shipment operation (Processing/Preparation of Shipping documents, Shipment Coordination, Data entry, Making freight space estimation, Conduct booking allotment, Attend to physical cargo release, On-time shipment release and other freight work, etc.) 
  • Execution of export documentation requirements for shipments 
  • Adhere to all ISO Procedures and Work Instructions 
  • Filing and documentation (Filing and arrange documentation, Scan documents/ Invoice for filing purpose) 
  • Generate End of Day report 
  • Handle logistics projects and adhoc duties/tasks as assigned.

8. Warehouse Assistant

Job Description

  • Ensure the right quantity and right electronic component parts are being received in, stored, picked, processed, quality checked and packed to fulfill customers’ orders based on Service Level Agreement – in an efficient manner.
  • Ensure the electronic components are checked regularly for its accuracy in stored locations & quantity.
  • Ensure the right product of the correct quantity are being received, put-away, picked, processed, quality checked and packed – in an efficient manner. 
  • Perform regular tally checks on the stocks for its accuracy in locations and quantities.
  • Process the customer’s shipment in ensuring all the special instructions are fulfilled, and components packed are secured in the most economical packaging box with minimal wastages.
  • Work with the company’s warehouse management system in their daily routines, able to be multi-task in other sections of the warehouse, working on any non-routine jobs as and when assigned.
  • Perform daily operational activities in their respective areas of responsibility
