Singapore's Energy & Chemicals sector is a critical part of the economy, employing over 27,000 people. As the sector transitions towards renewable energy, clean technologies, and sustainable practices, this transformation brings new and exciting opportunities. 

Singapore Polytechnic's SCTP SPOP is a short course designed to ease the learning curve and facilitate a seamless transition into the industry. Completing the course opens up numerous career opportunities in the chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical industries.

SP’s Work-Study Post-Diploma (Specialist Diploma in Process Operations, Safety & Health)

Singapore Polytechnic's Work-Study Post-Diploma (Specialist Diploma in Process Operations, Safety & Health) is a 12-month programme that combines lessons on workplace safety & health, chemical engineering and structured On-the-Job Training (OJT) to enable participants to gain working experience with participating companies as process and laboratory technicians in the Energy & Chemicals, Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing and related industries. 

Graduates will gain practical industry-relevant skills while benefiting from a potential fast-track pathway to further studies with the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS).
