MC Packaging started its humble beginning in the early 1970s in Singapore, founded by Mr. Whang Tar Choung. The company then was principally engaged in manufacturing metal cans and closures for Singapore’s edible oils industry. As the demand for other kinds of metal containers increased, the ever enterprising Mr. Whang decided to set up a second factory in 1977, which remains the same location that MC Packaging operates out of this very day. MC Packaging has since grown to become the leading supplier of metal packaging in Singapore, supporting global customers in providing one-stop metal packaging solutions.
